"Dance is your pulse, your heartbeat, your breathing.
It's the rhythm of your life.
It's the expression in time and movement,
in happiness, joy, sadness and envy."
― Jaques D'Amboise

Biard, Marie

Faire de la danse permet de m'exprimer à travers la musique, de me surpasser et d'accomplir des progrès au fil des années en perfectionnant ma technique.

Carelli, Emily

Dancing has always been a passion of mine. It's a beautiful art that requires hard work. However, at the end of the day you have a sense of accomplishment, and that's all that really matters!

Colloricchio, Kristina

"The dance is a poem of which each movement is a word".

Libao, Brooklyn

"If you have a passion for something, go for it. Never let anybody tell you you can't do something."

 ― Michaela DePrince

Destounis, Jenna Marie

"I could not adequately describe the way dance makes me feel. It is as though I had somehow found a way to sever the chords holding me to this earth… and for a moment… and for a moment… if only a fraction of a second… I can fly!"

Martineau, Alicia

Dancing is not only movements of the body, but it is expressing yourself through the movements that create a dance. Dancing lets me forget about anything that has happened because dancing is what makes me happy. All of the hard work is what makes dancing wonderful. Finally, performing on stage is the best part because you are able to show off all of your hard work to a group of judges and an audience. Expressing yourself through dancing is the best feeling in the world.

Martineau, Selena

I love expressing myself through dance. I love the way it feels when I soar through the air and the way I feel when I perform in front of others. Nothing feels better than when I nail a routine or when I know I did something right. The best thing about dance would probably be working hard and getting rewarded with progress. There is no other way by expressing how much I love to dance than by dancing.

Morrison, Sarah

"To dance is to be out of yourself. Larger, more beautiful, more powerful."

― Agnes de Mille

Raffoul, Danielle

"Many other women kicked higher, balanced longer, or turned faster. These are poor substitutes for passion."

― Agnes de Mille

Nothing can overpower passion because it is a principle incapable of being taught, it comes from within. Talent is nothing without passion, it then just becomes tricks.

Dube, Allison

Dance has always been a passion of mine ever since I was young. The feeling I get when I dance is something that I can't feel with anything else, it's indescribable! This feeling I get is when I know I've done my best for myself and challenged myself to the greatest extent. That's when I'm the happiest.

"Dance enables you to find yourself and lose yourself at the same time.”

Nantel, Sydney

Passion is the most important aspect in dance because it can't be taught. Even if your kicks aren't the highest or you can't balance the longest, if you love what you're doing than you're doing it right. You should leave people with a magical sensation in their heart, and in yours as well, which is much more memorable!

"When you dance you have the luxury of being you!"

― Paulo Coelho

Andruskiewitsch, Marina

I am a dancer. I twirl, leap and spin. I jump, pirouette and tap. I am a dancer. I feel the pain and fear. I feel defeat and failure, yet I keep dancing. I smile, I practice, I perform. I have grace and beauty. I don't dance because I'm happy. I'm happy because I dance. When I hear an applause, I perform.
